Cheap price but the quality is much more than I expected that I would get. The lasers are quite strong and seem to be made pretty well. No complaints. I do recommend!

These pointers had a nice bold and strong laser from the start. I also like how they come with a small paper insert to prevent the batteries from being drained before you receive them. Each pointer has 2 buttons, one for the laser and the other for a small flashlight type projection - each with a shade based on its color. The reason I didn't give the 5th star is I found some of the flashlight buttons to not work, but I could care less as I bought them for the laser pointer, not a secondary light.

Also, a great pack for any cat owners who want to entertain their furry little friends.

I use this dish to improve a poor wi-fi signal.

No gain at all.

Maybe the instructions provided are unclear.

While traveling with my laptop, I prefer a lot finding a business center or cybercafe where I can plug an ethernet cable to my portable PC.

I disabled the WiFi antenna in my Laptop. I walked 200 feet away from my router which has the WiFi antenna. When the little dish is pointed at my antenna (there are no obstructions) I received 8% signal. I pointed the device to the left, right and directly away from the antenna. Each time I refreshed the list of available WiFi systems. There was no direction characteristics to the dish! Received signal was 8% in all directions. At 300 feet I could not pick up my own router. At 100 ft I picked up a good signal but it was the same strength in all directions. The product seems to operate as an omnidirectional antenna. It's antenna pattern is more like a candle in the night rather than a flashlight with a focused beam in the night. I was hoping to use it in a motorhome campground so that I could pick up WiFi without carrying my laptop to a picnic table near the Office which has the antenna.

I was very disappointed. Although advertised to work with Windows 7, it doesn't work with Windows 7 64 bit. I spent over an hour on the phone with the support staff (Who were easy to call and very polite)at Hawking and they tried a bunch of different fixes to try and get it to work, but in the end the rep. said that they do not have a driver that supports 64 bit. And he suggested that I just return it. So I am now in the process of sending this back.

From all the negative reviews of this product, I must be the luckiest guy on the planet because our has
lasted five plus years without the timer breaking ( then again we didn't try to force it to the off position
like some other posters.) We asked for it as a wedding present and I love it because it will actually produce light toast
reliably ( slighty off white, not light tan ) which is not the case with other toasters that don't have actual timers
(they use a bimetal thermostat type spring to shutoff after the spring heats up, and the resulting toast color
varies widely.)

It also makes killer French Bread Pizza without burning the cheese ( yes, I'm quite the accomplished toaster cook :) )


For all the negative "It's a Fire Hazard" reviewers, IT'S MADE OF STEEL AND TEMPERED GLASS!!! IT WILL ACTUALLY CONTAIN
FLAMING TOAST TILL IT EXTINGUISHES ITSELF WITHOUT MELTING THE TOASTER, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!! There, I feel better. :)


For all the "the timers broke and I can't shut it off without pulling out the plug" reviewers:

See the top knob with the words "Toast, Broil, some numbers from 470 to 200, Keep Warm, and a Dot"? Turn that
knob counter-clockwise till the Dot lines up with the dot on the toaster body. Has the little red light on the bottom of
the control panel gone out? Good, your toaster heater elements are now off. You're welcome!

Also, replacement parts are available from Abtec parts.


Timers are around $20 if you're enough of a handyperson to install them.

If you don't force the timer, it may actually last 5 years.
